TEACHER SURVEY

Wisconsin High School German Teachers are encouraged to participate in this brief survey. By taking the time to respond to these questions you will help us to improve future contests.  Thank you for participating! 

 

      Please answer these questions: 

      1.     Yes        No        Are you aware of the National ATTG National German Test for students ?   

     2.       Yes       No        Are you familiar with the DSSV German Essay Contest that is offered to Wisconsin
                                                 German students in conjunction with the ATTG National German Language Exam?               

     3.       Yes       No        Have your German students ever participated in the DSSV Essay Contest ?     

     4.       Yes       No        Did your students participate in the 2007/2008 DSSV German essay contest?   

     Please comment on the following:   

     5.  If you answered "No" to  # 4, what is the reason your students did not participate in the 2007/2008 DSSV German essay contest? 

  

     6.  What changes could the DSSV make to increase participation by your German students?

  

    7.  Would it help to extend the DSSV essay submission deadline to February?  What else would make it easier for you to participate?

  

    8.  Is the cost to German teachers of the ATTG annual membership fee a deterrent to participation?  What would you recommend?

  

    9.  Should the DSSV subsidize a portion of the $5.00 entry fee for AATG test participants who also participate in the DSSV
         essay contest?

  

    10.  How can the DSSV, the Goethe House of Wisconsin and/or the Wisconsin Chapter of ATTG help to support your school's
